Namaste from Nepal!

Namaste, dear readers! We cannot believe our students in Nepal are already several days into their stay there. They have begun learning Nepali, tried out many new foods and styles of eating, and have begun to get to know the beautiful country! Everyone is excited to be exploring a new corner of the world, eating plenty of dal bhat, and starting to see the world from a new perspective. Let’s take a look at some of what they have been up to!

The group, learning to enjoy eating with their hands and exploring the ancient Durbar Square in Bhaktapur!

Here they are with our local guides, after getting some much-deserved rest in Pokhara before embarking on their trek tomorrow!

After completing a group Full Value Contract, where they outline the kinds of actions, values, and attitudes they hope to uphold throughout the trip.

From recollecting their voyage from the US to Nepal, to taking delight in the food and the language, our travelers have a lot to say! Take a look at some of what they have been thinking in their blog notes below.

With a mix of getting to know the locals and playing more soccer in our free time.
