Caribbean: All Smiles!

By the looks of it, St. Vincent has been the land of smiles for our group of travelers! Their friendship camp has been a place for joy, music, learning, running around, and being creative, and it shows.

As always, our travelers know how to best talk about their experience, so let’s see what they had to say. This week, they put together a collaborative journal, with someone new reporting on each day of the first five days of camp. Take a look.

Clearly, all of their hard work, planning, and preparation is paying off. From the delicious meals, to the plentiful camp activities, things have been running smoothly in St. Vincent. Another metric we like to use? Smiles! Just look at all of them!

And that’s not even all of them! When the group is not playing or learning with the kids from their host community, they have been getting to know some families around the island, too! Here are Alexandra, Izzy and Noah with their dinner stay family after a delicious meal.

Spencer, Kieran, Kaleigh, and Katie also enjoyed excellent food and conversation with their dinner host!

This weekend, our group had the opportunity to get in some rest and some adventure! They explored a farm, took a dip in a natural pool called Butternut Pool, and leapt around the Owia Salt Ponds. Looks pretty idyllic, doesn’t it?

This week, our Caribe crew wraps up their friendship camp, and will take in the beauty of the Grenadines in their final travel before heading home! Keep your eyes on our Instagram for sneak peeks before the next blog post.
