You better Belize in it!

What fun to catch up with the Belize group today! Now finally all together, the group is bonding and enjoying time as one big group. Over the last several days, the crew dove into all that they could at Clarissa Falls. The group spent the day with Chena, our host, making traditional tortillas and tamales, and of course eating them too.

Yesterday the group hiked to Xunantunich, and on the way Chena guided them through the flora and explained the medicinal benefits of same of the plants, as well as pointed out all the edible plants. The group then hiked the many steps up Xunantunich and learned about the history of these ancient ruins. In the afternoon they headed to the river and spent a lazy afternoon floating downstream on tubes.

Last night the group welcomed Lola and Alexandra and they played games and reestablished the group once everyone was finally together. Today the group is visiting San Ignacio and canoeing through the Barton Creek Caves. They are eager to get to San Antonio and meet their host families too.
