Puerto Rico is a proud island rich with cultural traditions, abundant wildlife, stunning beaches, and the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Park system. Rhythm and music, Caribbean Spanish, breathtaking natural beauty, and delicious traditional cooking make Puerto Rico an exciting first-step international summer travel destination for teens. This program offers teens the perfect combination of fun in the sun, outdoor adventure, leadership training, and cultural exploration.
WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?
Teens who want to have an amazingly fun summer exploring all that Puerto Rico has to offer! Outdoor adventure activities, cross- cultural experiences, community service learning, and language opportunities are just the beginning—what you’ll remember the most is the friends you make. We are particularly interested in including motivated teens that have a passion for working with kids, and are eager to teach and share creative activities and games in a summer camp setting. Students should join this program ready to immerse themselves in Puerto Rican culture as they work on community service projects and discover the natural beauty of the island.
